Come and join us for an inspiring retreat in the beautiful Cathar Region
Cathar Pilgrimage
April 22 - 29
During this week we will walk on the 'Sentier Cathare', a 200km-long walk that leads from the Mediterranean to Foix, along major Cathar sites. This year, we will walk the middle stretch, from Peyrepertuse to Puivert. The walks are between 15-20 km per day and we will stay in gîtes d'etape, catered airbnb's or hotels. We will accompany our walk with texts and reflections on ... Wednesday is a rest-day. Some training and a good physical fitness are required for this week! Luggage will be transported by car, so we will walk with day-packs. Come and join us on this special tour where we will walk through spectacular countryside in the foothills of the Pyrenees, meanwhile visiting some major Cathar historic sites.

The Cathar Renaissance in our Time
June 10 - 17
The legend goes that Mary Magdalene lived and taught in this area after she fled Jerusalem after the crucifixion of Jesus. During this week we will go on a quest and explore the hidden mysteries of Mary Magdalene. In many places we will find signs of her presence: in churches, in little chapels dedicated to her, in caves and in Cathar Teachings. We will explore her message in the Gospel of the Beloved Companion. The charming country-house where we will stay 'La Borde Blanque' is a beautiful tranquil place in the foothills of the Pyrenees at borders of the magnificent lac Montbel. Among our excursions will be: the medieval village of Mirepoix, the last Cathar stronghold Montségur, the Cathar Caves near Tarascon, la Fontaine d'Amour near Rennes-les-Bains and the intriguing village of Rennes-le-Chateau. There will be inspiring talks, meditation, excursions to sacred places and of course there will also be time to relax and immerse yourself in the tranquil French countryside.
